Glint is a California-based company that provides employment information to employers that sets off multiple workflows based on AI.

For example, this information, pulled from a survey regarding their employees’ job satisfaction, allows employers to identify and target engagement with teams and groups that may be struggling. The company has more that 300 customers worldwide using their AI empowered engine.

Over the course of the last year, Glint has dramatically increased its corporate presence in Lincoln. Glint has more than thirty employees in Lincoln. In July, Silicon Prairie News did an extended profile piece on Glint and its Lincoln office.

The company was acquired by LinkedIn for a company-reported $400 million, although multiple news entities are reporting the acquisition actually totals more than $500 million. The acquisition occurred earlier in the quarter, and it is the largest acquisition by LinkedIn since its own acquisition by Microsoft for $26.2 billion which closed in late 2016.
