Sojern, developer of a travel technology platform, has raised $120 million Series D venture funding.

Technology Crossover Ventures led the November 13 deal, with other undisclosed investors participating. Sojern intends to use the funds to expand to more “emerging” platforms such as connected TV.

Sojern’s platform offers digital marketing services and path-to-purchase data.  The company analyzes travel behavior and examines real-time data from a variety of sources including online travel agencies (OTAs), meta search engines, airlines, hotel properties, first-party data.  Sojern has delivered more than $13B in direct bookings for clients to date by activating multi-channel branding and performance solutions.

The company, founded in 2007 by Gordon Whitten, has surpassed $100 million in annual revenue and has expanded to 13 locations world-wide.
