Chuck Sloup was featured in yesterday’s OWH and for those that missed it, we wanted to be sure to point out the tremendous work Chuck has been working on.
He is the co-founder and president of Facility Optimization Specialists, which has now developed a technology to reduce the energy it takes to both heat and cool larger buildings.
Facility Optimization Specialists is testing their work now at the HDR headquarters in Omaha on Indian Hills Drive. The expectation is that their work will reduce energy consumption in the building by at least 10%.
The results of the pilot project at HDR will be available this fall, and Sloup’s company disseminate it’s technology early next year.

Great stuff from another local entrepreneur and we look forward to following up with Chuck in the next few months.
