We’re excited to “officially” join the Twittersphere. As a blog that promotes the use of social media to advance business, we hope that @siliconprairie sets an example. We’ve come up with five reasons why we think you should “follow” us.

Five reasons to follow @siliconprairie

  1. To stay in-tune with our region’s innovators, entrepreneurs and creatives
  2. To be in the know of upcoming events (produced by us and others)
  3. To receive links to other great articles, videos and blog posts
  4. To DM us to give us feedback or provide us with a news lead or story idea
  5. To see the pretty mug of Analog the Prairie Dog nearly every day

Also, we owe another big thanks to Robert Murphy (@ramhatter), who gave our mascot the name Analog the Prairie Dog after he won the “Name Our Mascot” contest in May. And a very big thanks to you as well, our readers. We can’t say it enough – we’re here today because of you.
