For any of you that may have missed out last time, the first-ever installment of Startup Drinks Omaha was a great time. Quite a few people showed up to talk about startup culture, network, and support one another on their various projects and ventures. This week, the format continues at Nomad Lounge (1023 Jones St) starting at 6:30 p.m. with WikiCity as the featured company. This company has certainly had some interesting things happening lately, and I, for one, am looking forward to chatting with them about it.

If you’re not familiar with Startup Drinks, then allow me to drop some knowledge on you. SD is a series of events for people involved in startup culture to gather and talk about what they do, what they’re working on, and how they can help one another. Omaha’s chapter will also sport a “featured company” every month, which means that you’ll get to learn about an Omaha-area startup that you may not be familiar with, or you’ll hear what one of your favorites is working on right now.

If you’re interested in startup culture in any way, feel free to stop by Nomad this Thursday! We look forward to seeing you there.
