The sweet variety of the leading online retailer of home furnishings and lifestyle products just got even sweeter with the addition of a new state-of-the-art Customer Care Center that will be 100 percent Omaha-based.
According to a press release, the Customer Care Center achieved more than a 50 percent increase in revenue contribution last year.* With the latest in advanced technology, the new 28,000 square-foot facility, located at 13831 Chalco Valley Parkway, is a vital component to the company’s continued growth, especially for the next three to five years.
“We’re building a great infrastructure of technology,” said Tammy Van Donk, the Customer Care Center director. “We really went out into the industry to evaluate what is going to help us scale in the company.”
The center will also serve as a hub for job opportunities within the coming months.
Hayneedle recently hired 40 summer associates to employ the center, but will end up with at least 100 sales and service associates once it opens June 28. The company could have as many as 250 employees on staff during the holiday season.
“We’ve realized just the tremendous opportunity we have in a care center to be able to recognize, particularly from the sales perspective, how we can grow as a team,” Van Donk said. “We really wanted to make sure that we could embrace what we are doing with the customer experience.”
