There a two quality events taking place this week, both, coincidentally, have alcohol-related titles. The first, Omaha Beer && Code, has yet to set a place and time but it should be taking place Wednesday evening. The second is the monthly Startup Drinks which is put on by our friends at the Omaha Chamber.

More details to come, but organizer Andy Peters of Ninth Division says this second time gathering should be Wednesday evening, most likely downtown. Never been to Startup Drinks and want to know what it’s about? According to startupdrinks.com it is a national program that helps build the startup culture in cities around world. The program holds events (typically over coffee or spirits) where people can discuss what they are working on, what they need help with and what they can do to help others.
