BECOME A SPONSOR

We have an immediate need for an Interactive Web Developer to help develop and maintain a diverse set of projects in our Omaha, Nebraska office. The perfect position if you have a solid background in developing quality websites, enjoy working with a team of designers, strategists and project managers, have an excellent aptitude with technology and software and are intrigued with interactive marketing.

You will work with a wide variety of platforms and technologies (PHP, ASP.NET, mobile platforms, etc) and must be comfortable with both the front-end and back-end aspects of web development. You will develop web sites using XHTML, CSS and JavaScript and work with various Content Management Systems on both Windows/IIS and Linux/Apache. Specific experience with Drupal, Ektron and/or Sitecore is a plus.

Other responsibilities for this position include:

  • Collaborate with team members to define project requirements, features, and functionality.
  • Create specifications, technical design documents, and estimates of scope.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve code errors and cross-browser compatibility.

3-5 years of development experience required, and preferably one year of experience as the technical lead on a web development project or development team.  Strong communication, organization and time management skills are a must.  Bachelors Degree and previous agency experience preferred.

How to Apply: Qualified candidates should submit resume and salary requirements, along with work samples (a list of sites you’ve built would be fine—identify projects in which you were the sole developer and which portions were your responsibility for team projects) and a list of technical capabilities to hr@swansonrussell.com or Swanson Russell, Attn: HR Dept., 1222 P Street, Lincoln, NE 68508.

All of Harvest’s clients are in the bicycle industry, so the work is fun and interesting.

Mashtun Technologies – Technical Co-Founder (Kansas City)

Mashtun Technologies exists to help craft beer consumers purchase beers that aren’t normally available in their market.

We are looking for a technical co-founder. Here is what we would like to see:

  • We are still in the pre-launch stage.  Our website is terrible and we know.  We have done some early customer validation, but we still have a long way to go.
  • You must love craft beer and desire the choice to buy whatever beers you want. Homebrewer is a plus.
  • You have to be willing to spend a few months getting to know us and letting us get to know you. We could end up working closely for years, so this only makes sense.
  • You should have experience developing web applications, with e-commerce experience preferred. Experience developing logistics or supply chain management applications is also a plus. You will be the primary person responsible for launching the first fully functional version of the website.
  • We are open to implementing different technologies. We hack a little bit ourselves, but you are the expert.
  • We need someone that is a finisher.
  • We want someone that has a voice and expects to contribute to the direction of the company.
  • This is a co-founder position, so be prepared to do a little bit of everything.

Tell us what kind of role you see for yourself in the long-term. If we are going to work together, we want you to be happy, whether that means coding with your head down or taking a long-term executive role.

We expect a full-time commitment from our co-founder. If we haven’t scared you off yet, email me at willis@mashtunbeer.com.

Compensation is a major equity stake. We aren’t assholes, it will be more than 10%.
