Quite a few events are taking place in the Silicon Prairie this week. Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6, with a Happy Hour Mentorship Kickoff Event hosted by the Kansas City IT Professionals. Thursday is a busy day in Altoona, Iowa with Pitch and Grow IV during the day and the 2011 Prometheus Awards in the evening. Also on Thursday, Silicon Prairie News will be hosting our first-ever Silicon Prairie News Meetup in Omaha at Brazen Head Irish Pub. Finally, this eventful week in the Prairie wraps up on Saturday with Nebraska Code Camp in Lincoln.

Whether you have technology knowledge to share or you’ve got a desire to soak up info, we can all learn from one another. If you want to be a mentor or want to be mentored, or just want to support the cause…this is an event you won’t want to miss! Register NOW, as the number of tickets for each category is limited!
