Events reach each of the major cities on the Prairie this week. Tuesday, startups in Des Moines will rally at Tally’s for Startup Drinks, and on Thursday, KCNext will host a summer happy hour at the Boulevard Brewery. Later that evening, the Omaha Chamber will host its Cornstalks event at its downtown office.

A simple concept: startup culture in cities around the world gathers around a bar to have a pint and discuss what they are working on, what they need help with and what they can do for each other.
