Getting cold feet about making that cold call? Introvio hopes to help reduce those chills by cultivating a warm contact.

Formally introduced to the world yesterday in a blog post by creator Mike Templeton, Introvio is a platform that leverages the network effect to help people get the introductions they need. “Whether you’re looking for a job, a mentor, a sales lead, or something else,” Templeton wrote in the blog post, “the common denominator is the initial introduction.”

Templeton, the co-founder of ScoreYard, said yesterday that he’s taking the lean approach to this project, trying to get as much feedback as possible while iterating, iterating and iterating some more. Those interested in learning more about Introvio and providing feedback to help Templeton shape the direction of Introvio can register for updates on Introvio’s site.
