Look for four great events in the Prairie this week. To start us off right on Tuesday make sure to cast your ballots at the second Women of Innovation Nomination Breakfast in Johnson, Iowa. On Wednesday, get ready to buckle down for a day of hard work in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the last Cowork Wednesday of the month. On Thursday, stop by TechBrew Cedar Valley and Friday, the Social Media Club of Kansas City ties off the week with a breakfast with featured speaker Scott Monty from corporate communications at Ford Motor Company.
One of the most anticipated events of the year is about to open its nomination period. The Technology Association of Iowa’s Women of Innovation Awards annually honors extraordinary accomplishment and leadership in the fields of mathematics, science and technology. Join us for a nomination breakfast. The agenda for the nomination breakfast includes information about TAI and the awards, as well as presentations from past award winners. Currently on the staff of corporate communications in Ford Motor Company, Scott heads up the social media function and holds the Global Digital & Multimedia Communications Manager. He is a strategic advisor on all social media activities across the company, from blogger relations to marketing support, customer service to internal communications and more, as social media is being integrated into many facets of Ford business.
