Presenting our MC and speakers of our inaugural Thinc Iowa, an event with a mission to provide the common ground for corporations and startups. Photos courtesy of speakers (in order of speaker order listed below).
With yesterday’s addition of Pinterest co-founder Ben Silbermann to our inaugural Thinc Iowa speaker lineup, we’re now all set to announce our full schedule and details.
In doing so, we’re also excited to announce that the talented Matthew McIver, the artistic director of the Des Moines Social Club, will be serving as our MC. McIver is an actor, writer and educator, and he most recently shared his sense of humor and wisdom at TEDxDesMoines. A leader in the cultural community since he moved here from New York City to help found the Des Moines Social Club in 2008, we’re excited to have McIver welcome our attendees in the morning and focus the discussion throughout the day.
