As we close out what has been an amazing year in the Silicon Prairie community, at Silicon Prairie News we’re busy planning for what promises to be another year of exciting activities and continued growth.

It’s inspiring to look back just a little more than three years ago to the start of what continues to develop amongst our great startup and entrepreneurial community. It’s because of you that we exist. The actions that you take each and every day to grow, develop, scale and launch your ideas into reality. Each step you take forward not only helps develop your own businesses, but it inspires others in the community to do the same.

In order to continue supporting the development of the Silicon Prairie News community, we’re adding to our team in Omaha and Des Moines.

We’re looking to fill three positions

We’re seeking a driven salesperson to develop and sell sponsorship for our premier events, Big Omaha and Thinc Iowa, as well as our website, siliconprairienews.com.

Additionally, we’re bringing on two interns – a content and projects intern to work alongside our managing editor Danny Schreiber, and a public relations and event intern to work alongside our event coordinator Brittany Mascio.

If you have what it takes, I would encourage you to apply today as we’re in for an exciting ride in 2012, and we would love to have the privilege of adding your skills and ideas to our team!
