Dwolla co-founder Ben Milne polls the crowd: “Who has a Dwolla account?” Photo by Anna Jones | Art of Photography and Phillip Harder.
On Thursday, Dwolla, a payments startup based in Des Moines, closed out one of its most eventful days yet with a meetup to show off its new product feature and bring together its users, supporters and members of the city’s tech community. According the Des Moines Register, more than 250 people came out for the event which, as is always part of a Dwolla Meetup agenda, included a free T-shirt for attendees.
Below you’ll find links to photos and articles and two embedded videos which document the night. First, a video of the announcement of Dwolla Instant, a feature that allows a Dwolla user to immediately access a line of credit up to $500, and second, a montage of sights and sounds inside the venue, Vaudeville Mews.
