In case you missed the meetup, watch the video above for a glimpse at what Dwyer shared about Hatchlings.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, the Groundhog Day Silicon Prairie News Meetup with Hatchlings was quite the sight.
Last Thursday, more than 70 people from the Des Moines startup community joined us to celebrate the big holiday. Or perhaps they joined us simply for a chance to pet our spokesrodent Analog the Prairie Dog and have a brewski. Either way, the crowd seemed to be pleased with the mingling, the attempt to hold a competitive billiards showdown and the opportunity to learn more about Hatchlings, our meetup sponsor.
Thanks to our sponsor
Brad Dwyer, the CEO of Hatchlings, shared more about the “world’s largest Easter Egg Hunt” and a bit about the launch of the second version of the Facebook application.
Our thanks again to Hatchlings for sponsoring the meetup and for providing the l’egg’endary T-shirts. For more information on Hatchlings, their recent Hatchlings 2 beta launch or their available marketing director position, visit hatchlings.com.
Check out the images, pictures and video from the meetup for more on what happened with Hatchlings. For a full list of all our Silicon Prairie News events see our 2012 SPN events schedule.
For the first Silicon Prairie News meetup in Des Moines since July, we packed the house at Raccoon River with our meetup sponsor Hatchlings.
Packing the “penthouse,” or the upstairs party room of Raccoon River, attendees mix and mingle.
Thanks to Hatchlings for providing the memorable l’egg’endary meetup shirts.
