Scott Harrison spoke at Big Omaha 2010. He comes to Big Kansas City this March to continue his story.

In less than six weeks, Hangar 9 will transform from an aircraft storage to our conference home, March 27-28. Today, we’re revealing three more speakers who will join us in this special space including Scott Harrison, one of our most memorable Big Series presenters.

If you haven’t purchased your ticket, make sure to do so soon. We’ve had a recent uptick in ticket sales and attendance is limited to maintain the intimacy of the event. Tickets for Big Kansas City provide access to the two-and-a-half day event, four official conference parties and an environment to connect with all our speakers and all-star attendees.

General admission tickets are available for $449 and special entrepreneur/startup discounted tickets are available for $299.

Three more Big Kansas City speakers

Perhaps one of the most valuable takeaways from our conferences are the relationships built with our very special attendees, our speakers. They’re a part of the shared experience; reflecting on other keynote presentations, drinking a beer with us at the parties and creating valuable mentorships and future partnerships.

Among the three individuals we announce today one has build a nonprofit network aiding one of world’s biggest problems, one has demonstrated a product in the hand’s of President Obama and another has grown the largest live-auction marketplace. Help us welcome returning Big Series speaker Scott Harrison along with new faces Adam Wilson and Ryan Downs.

Scott Harrison, charity: water

@ScottHarrison

Perhaps one of the most impactful and passionate talks, Scott Harrison's Big Omaha 2010 presentation left our attendees with chills and sparked a call-to-action raising more than $15,000 for charity: water bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries.

Scott continues his story at Big Kansas City.

Adam Wilson, Sphero

@IceMupppet

As co-founder and chief software architect of Orbotix, Adam and his team are the makers of Sphero, the phone-controlled robotic ball tested most famously by President Obama.

Adam titles himself a "true hacker at heart" with experience in one of NASA's controlled robotics projects and 2010 involvement in TechStars. He comes to Big Kansas City ready to talk about his work with Sphero and his affinity for all things robot.

Ryan Downs, Proxibid

As we look to the bigger picture of the Silicon Prairie, as an organization we are continuously looking to bridge our communities in Kansas CIty, Des Moines and Omaha together.

At Big Kansas City, Ryan will represent a piece of the Omaha community with a success story from his experience as president and CEO of Proxibid, an online marketplace for high-value and specialized assets

More speakers to come

We've revealed 11 of our Big Kansas City speakers but there are still more to come. Stay tuned for the last phenomenal speakers we'll reveal from our complete lineup in the coming weeks.
