SPN hosted its first Des Moines meetup of 2014 on Thursday evening at The Continental in the East Village.

The Silicon Prairie News team gathered in Des Moines Thursday night for the city’s first meetup of the year. Prior to the event, staff spent the workday with the fine folks at StartupCity and were able to catch the live taping of the Welch Avenue Show.

At 5 p.m., members of the community gathered at The Continental in the East Village for a happy hour meetup. Staff were able to make new connections and hear about the great things happening in the Des Moines community.

A big thanks to all who joined us on Thursday night. We can’t wait to see you again soon!
