After an energetic day one of Big Kansas City, join the Mozilla Gigabit Fund and Hive KC Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Think Big Partners to learn how Kansas City is preparing to teach for the digital classroom of the future.

Hear from Kansas City-based startups and schools making real differences in the lives of local children, parents and teachers as we talk about what the future of education tech and progressive digital curricula looks like in our Google Fiber-connected city.

Tune in for a keynote address from Erin Mote, co-founder of new progressive school Brooklyn Lab, and former advisor to the Clinton Foundation, Wal-Mart, Chevon and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The event will wrap up with a special series of “Moonshots” featuring big thinkers working in our community doing extraordinary things to advance innovation in and out of the classroom. Those projects making “exceptional reaches in education” include The Lean Lab, KC Edu (inspired by 1 Million Cups), Immersive Ed Initiative, Up Global / Startup Weekend EDU, Northland CAPS Students on Team Mozilla, PlanIT Impact KC and KC Digital Drive.

Then head to the Big Kansas City Middle Party, just a few blocks away at The Bauer.

To get your spot at The Future of EdTech, make sure to RSVP here.
