We’re back. Ready?

The genius of SPN has always been personal relationships within the community. It’s essential that we listen closely to the community, find out what the community needs, and then design SPN for you. The need for something like SPN is clear; the demand for a better SPN is equally clear. The community is growing, and…

IMG_5951For the past few months the word on SPN’s future has been cryptic. That’s over now.

I’ve sat down for coffee with many people in the startup community. I’ve listened closely, and the support has been overwhelmingly positive. People are excited that SPN is coming back, and they want to see it succeed.

The genius of SPN has always been personal relationships within the community. It’s essential that we listen closely to the community, find out what the community needs, and then design SPN for you. The need for something like SPN is clear; the demand for a better SPN is equally clear. The community is growing, and SPN needs to grow with it.

SPN’s life is at the heart of the startup community. It’s time we recommit to that. We are going to refocus our efforts on telling startup stories. We are going to tell the most interesting, engaging stories we can find, no matter what city or town they come out of.

We are going to experiment. If something doesn’t work, we will drop it and try something new. We are going to try things that don’t fly, and we will be honest when they don’t. We love being part of a risk tolerant community that appreciates that.

If I haven’t had coffee with you yet, I want to. I want to meet you and hear your story. If you see me around (and you will), don’t hesitate to introduce yourself.

SPN covers some of the most intelligent, most ambitious, most visionary people you’ll ever meet. All I can say is, this is going to be fun.
