Omaha-based Year of the Startup recently took a weekend road trip down to Kansas City to introduce themselves to the current residents of the Kansas City Startup Village Homes for Hackers. SPN sent Aaron Kessler of Candlefire Films to capture their experience.

In the video Sabastian Hunt, founder of Year of the Startup, explains his vision for building a bridge between the Omaha and KC startup communities.

“If we could increase the number of connections and that transfer of knowledge, and make that friction-less, I think that’s going to help us out tremendously,” said Hunt in the video.
