ABPathfinder has acquired Ensure Billing. The two companies will now operate as Pathfinder Health Innovations. Ann Monahan, the former CEO of Ensure Billing, will take the role as COO of the new company.
The merger will bring billing and insurance reimbursement tools to Pathfinder, a cloud-based software platform that helps improve patient outcomes for autism therapy. Once the two platforms are integrated, Pathfinder will provide a complete client solution from point of therapy to reimbursement.
Pathfinder Health Innovations was founded in 2010 in Overland Park, Kansas. Jeff Blackwood is co-founder, President and CEO of PHI. He is also a member of Pipeline Entrepreneurs.
PHI closed its Series A round of fundraising in 2014. In 2015 the company was the winner of the Microsoft Health Innovation Award.
