AIM HDC (Heartland Developers Conference) is a 3-day software development event on September 6-8, 2017 for tech professionals, consisting of hands-on workshops, keynotes and other speakers, breakout sessions and networking events. Attendees learn from national industry experts plus regional and local leaders, who share the latest knowledge and demonstrate new techniques.

Conference speakers hail from regional to international companies, with a wide range of experiences and developer knowledge that they’ll be sharing with attendees. SPN recapped a few of the impressive men and women that you can look forward to hearing from at this year’s AIM HDC.

Dave Crawford

Senior User Experience Program Manager
Dave Crawford is a Senior Design Lead in Windows. He has designed and built some of the most popular and well-known apps on the Windows platform over the years including Facebook, Spotify, Instagram, and PayPal, and now spends his time helping partners bring their experiences to Windows and new devices.

Engineering Manager
Jordan currently works on Hudl’s Clips & Playlists team, building tools to help coaches, athletes, and analysts curate and share video with others as easily as possible. He also manages a group of development team leads across the company’s product team and works with them to ensure that engineering at Hudl is fun, challenging, and rewarding.

Developer Advocate
IBM is a very large company. My little niche is as a Developer Advocate in a business unit focused on mobile and cloud strategy. As such, I am well versed in mobile development for iOS and Android, both native and hybrid (Cordova), as well as server development (Node.js, Java, PHP). My passion is in where these technologies meet early adopters in IoT (MQTT much?), and cognitive computing (Watson).
