On March 26, 2018, Igor received $900,000 in early-stage VC funding. The current investors are Plains Angels, Iowa Economic Development Authority, Capital Management Associates, Next Level Ventures, Clean Energy Trust, and Square One DSM. Their funders are located in  Des Moines, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.

At a glance…

Igor produces a system of lighting that controls LED lights. They are able to sense motion and daylight; they can also be applied to spaces of any size. They work with customers on setting up the control system and managing the adjustments.

The Company was founded by Dwight Stewart in 2013 in the Des Moines area with a second office in Johnston, IA. Steven L’Heureux serves as the CEO and Chairman. He has also been the CEO of Ryko Solutions in Des Moines. Dwight Stewart, the founder, serves as the CTO, COO, and the President, he was also a co-founder and the principle at Quality Attributes Software. Doug Strawn is the CFO. Andrew Pospisal is the Director of Support Services at Igor. Jaryd Sunstrom serves as the Director and Technology.

Igor’s funding in March is their most recent funding; they will be able to use it to bolster up their software.
