LandscapeHub, founded in 2017 and based in Prairie View, Illinois, closed a $5.16 million venture deal with undisclosed investors on February 1.

The company provides a B2Bmarketplace for the nursery and landscape industry aimed at solving procurement inefficiencies. The platform offers computer and mobile access to a large network of wholesale suppliers across the country including nurseries, distributors, manufacturers, and brokers. Users can search for products, create quotes, and submit orders, as well as tap into market insights and trends.

LandscapeHub streamlines the procurement process for industry buyers by reducing time and costs, while providing wider access to product availability and pricing. The platform also coordinates shipping solutions. Suppliers by benefit leveraging the platforms procurement tools, the platform’s market insights, and increased brand exposure and network.

This month’s funding round follows a March 2018 $4.4 million seed round led by Chicago Ventures with Hyde Park Venture Partners, Hyde Park Angels, and individual investors participating.  Landscape hub co-founders are Lisa Fiore, Chad Cooper, and Ed Rockhill.
