All eyes on the game – no need to worry about missing the big play or maneuvering through rows of knees and elbows to stand in line for a hotdog. FanFood can bring it right to your seat.

Iowa City-based startup FanFood has raised $2.05 million in Series A venture funding, in a March 6 deal with UCLA ventures and undisclosed investors. The company was founded in 2016 and has ten employees.

The app enables users to order concessions directly from a smartphone. Fans can select from the concession menu, pay for their order, and choose to pick up the order in line or have the food delivered to their seat. In addition to food, users can also purchase merchandise and receive notifications of discounts and deals through the app.

Venues include collegiate and professional stadiums, high schools, concert venues, theaters, and state fairs. Venues can benefit by enhanced fan experience. The platform can help vendors customize and manage menus and includes analytics for sales insights and other key metrics.

Company co-founders are Carson Goodale, Dustin Hemesath, Elijah Doetsch, and William Anderson.
