Tony Hsieh, author of “Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose” and CEO of Zappos, will be speaking in Omaha next Wednesday, September 1, about his book and the story behind Zappos’ amazing growth.
Hsieh, the Delivering Happiness Bus Tour team, and the “Happy Bus” (see video below) are stopping in Omaha as part of a three-month, 20-city tour. We’ve teamed up with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Smith, Dr. James & Karen Linder, and the Omaha and Lincoln chapters of the American Marketing Association to make this happen.

The live event taking place in Omaha (bustouromaha.eventbrite.com) is sold out, but we will be live-streaming it on Silicon Prairie News. Look for a post next week that will contain information about the 8:30 a.m. CDT live stream.
In addition, the evening before Hsieh’s talk, Tuesday, August 31,* the “Happy Bus” and team will be holding a happy hour meet and greet. This will be a great time to meet the inspiring Delivering Happiness team and take a tour of the bus. Look for an announcement post next week, but plan for 6 p.m. at Loft 610 (220 South 31st Avenue #3107, Midtown Crossing).
