Entrepreneurs Unpluggd, an event produced by a duo from Chicago with an aim to create an intimate and engaging environment for entrepreneurs to learn from other entrepreneurs, will take place for the first time in Kansas City on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Screenland Crown Center.
Themed “How To Find Your First Customers,” this edition of the event series will bring together three voices from the Kansas City entrepreneurial scene to share advice, strategy and lessons learned on customer acquisitions. The speaker lineup features Bo Fishback, co-founder and CEO of Zaarly (a startup that announced a $14.1 million raise earlier today), Debra L. Ellies, CEO and president of OsteoGeneX Inc, and Tyler Prochnow, co-founder of Think Big Partners.

Here’s more on the topic from the Unpluggd website:
Whether customers are consumers, pharmaceutical companies, or sports teams, convincing them to use your new product/service can often make or break a startup.
Hear actionable advice and insight from entrepreneurs who have been there, and will share their secrets regarding customer acquisition. The esteemed speakers will answer this question with examples from their own experiences, including successful strategies and not so successful strategies.
Early bird tickets ($20) are available through Nov. 7. To register for the event and find more information, visit entrepreneursunpluggd.com/event.
