Just more than 10 days remain for Midwest entrepreneurs to apply for Pipeline‘s 2013 class. Pipeline, the Kansas City, Kan.-based regional fellowship for high-growth entrepreneurs, will accept applications for next year’s class until 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Entrepreneurs from from Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska are eligible for Pipeline, which accepts 10-12 entrepreneurs per year from a variety of backgrounds. The six-year-old program brings its entrepreneurs together for three-day modules each quarter and an Innovator of The Year event in January, plus a variety of other functions throughout the year.
Pipeline seeks to foster interaction between the dozen or so entrepreneurs in its current class but also offers those entrepreneurs access to past Pipeline participants and a national network of advisors, mentors, service providers and more.

After an extensive selection process, new members participate in a unique and rigorous yearlong entrepreneurial leadership development program. This introductory year leverages a national network of business advisers at the forefront of their respective specialties who engage deeply with Pipeline members, effectively extending members’ business networks nationwide.
Following the Oct. 29 application deadline, Pipeline will conduct two rounds of interviews with applicants in November and early December. The 2013 class will be picked in December and introduced in January.
For more on the program, see the video below, which features 2012 Pipeline participants Blake Lawrence of Hurrdat Social Media and Ben Vu of SkyVu Entertainment. Both entrepreneurs touch on recent from their companies: Hurrdat’s September announcement of a spinoff, opendorse, and SkyVu’s August capital raise.
