iPhone/iPod Touch apps developed on the Prairie
Next week, Aaron Onken will publish a post with a list of names, icons, and descriptions of iPhone / iPod Touch Apps that have been developed on The Prairie. To make this list as long as possible, we need your help: If you, or someone you know located in our region, has developed an iPhone / iPod Touch App for either a company in our region or outside of it, please fill out the submission form below.
We’ve had some awesome apps built by developers in our region. Jeff, Dusty and I visited with one of those developers yesterday, Daniel Shipton of BitMethod. Earlier this year, he and his business partner, Neil Roberts, released the BNO News iPhone push application, which has garnered a good amount of attention on the national stage. In addition to the recognition mentioned above, ReadWriteWeb named it one of the Top 10 RSS & Syndication Technologies of 2009, and in October, TechCrunch writer Jason Kincaid called it one of his favorite iPhone applications in a post: BNO News Updates Its Great iPhone App, Lets You Harness Stream Of Push Notifications.
