Last year we compiled lists of companies from each region you should be following on Twitter in anticipation of our annual Silicon Prairie Awards. It worked so well that we decided to update those lists this year, but this time, we’re widening the playing field a little bit.
Below you’ll find a list of companies, organizations and events that make up much of the entrepreneurial community across the Silicon Prairie. These are the startups we write about, the events we attend and the groups who help fight for entrepreneurs every day.
Two years ago we hosted our first Silicon Prairie Awards in Omaha, last year we brought the party to Des Moines, and for 2014, we’ll make our way to Kansas City. Join us August 21 at KC’s Midland Theatre to celebrate the past year’s best of the Silicon Prairie.
With these lists, we hope you’ll take time to learn more about members of the region’s community, give them a follow on Twitter and, of course, nominate them for a Silicon Prairie Award.
