Bitcoin Day Omaha exposes residents to digital currency
OMAHA—Nearly 40 Bitcoin enthusiasts and organizations gathered at Blue Sushi in the Old Market for the first annual Bitcoin Day Omaha, Monday. The event, sponsored by two local Bitcoin startups, Alpha Bitcoin and Blockchain IO, hoped to increase awareness of this digital currency in the Omaha area.
