Midlands Venture Forum (MVF), an organization we partnered with earlier this year to promote and share video of their events, will be hosting a Networking Dinner this Thursday. The focus of the panel assembled will be to discuss the topic of the evening, “Growing Business Through Bootstrapping and Other Capital-Efficient Means”
You may recognize a couple of the names on the panel. We’ve interviewed Charles Hull and Joe Olsen to learn more about their companies and experiences. Although we have conducted an interview with Jeffrey Hicks, we’ve heard from Eelios, a spinoff of 21CSI.
Here’s more about Thursday’s event from MVF’s Event page, and if you’d like to see all of our coverage of MVF, visit siliconprairienews.com/tag/midlands-venture-forum.
With the economic challenges the country has experienced over the last year, some traditional sources of high growth capital have become more difficult to secure. This leaves many business owners looking at creative alternatives to grow their business without capital or with lower amounts than they would have pursued in the past.
Thanks to our sponsor
Our panel will feature representatives of regional companies that have successfully launched without multi-million dollar capital infusions. They include companies that have bootstrapped without any funding, companies that have creatively partnered with customers to build their products, and companies that have utilized government programs to fund development.

*Charles Hull — Co-owner, President & Director of Creative Services at Archrival
