A new event focused on facilitating the exchange of entrepreneurial ideas will debut in Des Moines on March 23. Startup Drinks Des Moines is the newest iteration of StartupDrinks.com, a website that serves as a coordinating point for such events that take place all around the world.

A simple concept: startup culture in cities around the world gathers around a bar to have a pint and discuss what they are working on, what they need help with and what they can do for each other.
Des Moines Startup Drinks will take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month at Tally’s Restaurant Bar (2712 Beaver Ave) in Beaverdale. The March event is planned for the rooftop and will feature $2 draws. It’s designed to be a casual gathering for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and other startup enthusiasts.
