MyEntre.Net, a web-based support system for entrepreneurs provided by the University of Northern Iowa’s Business and Community Services division, recently launched the Dream Big Grow Here grant program to spur new business ideas from Iowans.

Sponsored by the Iowa Bankers Association, Dream Big Grow Here will award a $1,000 grant to the highest vote-getting idea submitted through the grant’s website by groups or individuals each month through December 2010. Submissions for June are open through June 15. Voting starts the following day and ends on June 30. Each round begins on the first of the month with a similar schedule.
