Matt Wynn, a watchdog reporter for the Omaha World-Herald who we interviewed this past December for his involvement in DataOmaha.com, will be joining us on today’s Weekly Wrap Up Show. While we’ll likely touch on his work at the World-Herald, we’ll be focusing on a new meetup group he’s launching this coming month, Hacks/Hackers Heartland.

This group, which has a presence in other cities (see: hackshackers.com), has a pretty simple goal: bring journalists and technologists together. Of course, this goal is exciting to us and later today you’ll see a guest post from Wynn which talks more about it. Going foward, we’ll also be including it on our events page and in our weekly event posts. But if you’re itching to hear more details or send a question Wynn’s way, make sure to tune in at 10 a.m. when we’ll have him join us for the Weekly Wrap Up Show.
