The Des Moines Business Record on Thursday announced its 13th annual Forty Under 40 list, which recognizes 40 central Iowa business leaders under the age of 40 for their career achievements and community involvement.
The list includes a couple of people that regularly grace the pages of Silicon Prairie News: Dwolla founder and CEO Ben Milne and, last but certainly not least on the list — it is, after all, in alphabetical order — Silicon Prairie News’ very own Geoff Wood.
Forty Under 40 recipients were chosen by a panel of past recipients who gave equal weight to business successes and civic and philanthropic activities.

The winners will be honored at an awards presentation and reception at 4:30 p.m. on March 27 at the West Des Moines Sheraton. The event is expected to draw business and community leaders and friends, families and colleagues of the honorees. Registration for the event is now open.
