Awesome Camp, Lincoln’s answer to the unconference, will take place March 2-3 at downtown nightclub red9 (322 S. 9th St.).
Awesome Camp is described on its website as “a participant-driven unconference” at which “anyone and everyone is invited to sign up to speak on a topic they are passionate about.” In other words, it’s an event with all the awesome of a Barcamp and a name that celebrates that quality more prominently.
Awesome Camp starts with a meet and greet at 7 p.m. on March 2 and continues from 9:30 a.m until 4:30 p.m on March 3. More on the event, from its website:

The day is divided into 30 minute slots in three different tracks: Entrepreneurship, Tech, and Creative. The schedule will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis on Saturday morning. If you don’t want to speak, come listen and network! We’re sure you’ll leave Awesome Camp inspired and motivated to take your awesome to the next level.
