Nebraska students with an interest in entrepreneurship will have a chance to whip themselves into startup shape May 14-18 at the Bootcamp for Technology and Entrepreneurship put on by NUtech Ventures in Lincoln. Registration for the event is open now and continues through May 4.
Billed as an intensive, week-long training course on what it takes to turn an idea into a high-tech business, the program is open to undergraduates, graduates and post-docs from any school in Nebraska.
Topics covered at the boot camp will include business model generation, customer development, team building, legal basics and financing. Organizers say the event uses some of the same techniques and philosophies as Steve Blank‘s Lean Launchpad.
