At the conclusion of the opening day of Thinc Iowa 2012, attendees took a trip “inside the startup studio.” Or so the discussion was dubbed by Antonio Neves, the THINQACTION founder and Thinc Iowa emcee, who moderated the 40-minute question-and answer session on Oct. 10.
Neves was joined on stage by a quartet of entrepreneurs: Tara Hunt, the co-founder Buyosphere and director of digital content at Tuxedo Agency; Brian Spaly, the CEO of Trunk Club; Gentry Underwood, the co-founder and CEO of Orchestra; and Ron J. Williams, the co-founder and CEO of Knodes.
Audience members were encouraged to ask away, and the ensuing conversation covered such wide-ranging topics as entrepreneurial motivation, building companies outside of traditional startup hubs, top tech events and startup attire.
