Toby Rush has just about seen it all in when it comes to startups, first in growing Rush Tracking Systems to a cash sale in 2011, and now as CEO of EyeVerify, which develops biometrics software. He recently spoke with the Kansas City Business Journal about how he’s tried to pass those lessons on as an unofficial advisor of sorts within the Kansas City community—especially for the younger entrepreneurs in the Kansas City Startup Village. “There are a lot of younger folks and younger ideas here, which is great, but they don’t get honest feedback enough,” he said.
