Hot off the press comes news Kansas City-based startup PlanetReuse Marketplace has been selected by the Wall Street Journal for its “WSJ Startup of the Year” episodic documentary premiering June 24. PlanetReuse Marketplace helps reuse centers showcase inventory online and, in its own words, “makes reclaimed material easier to procure to save money, serve LEED efforts and sustain the planet.” Chosen from more than 500 applications, 24 companies will be matched with global business leaders and have their progressed tracked over the course of five months. Throughout the series, editors and mentors, along with viewer votes, will narrow down the companies to pick an overall winner. — Source: Wall Street Journal
