For the third year, early stage startups looking for investors have another means of introduction: i2iowa, an annual “investors and innovators forum” presented by the Technology Association of Iowa. The morning will consist of educational sessions and during the second part of the event, selected companies will participate in rapid-fire pitches to a panel of investors. The conference is April 9 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines. The 2014 Prometheus Awards—an annual event to celebrate innovation and achievement within Iowa’s tech sector across 13 categories—begins at 5 p.m. The application deadline is Feb. 28 and interested companies can apply online. — Source: i2iowa
