Why we’re so grateful for Polsinelli, our KC partners since day one

Big Kansas City is just a month away, and that got us to thinking about how we got here. So indulge me for a moment while I brag about one of SPN’s closest partners and why you should have them on your team. Polsinelli has been with us in KC since day one.

We’re heading into year two of Big Kansas City, and looking forward to sharing your stories and those of our speakers over the next few weeks. All of this wouldn’t be possible without our content partner, Pinsight Media+. They are a pioneer in mobile media with deep entrepreneurial roots. Their team brings leadership, experience and global awareness to Kansas City’s booming startup community. To learn more or talk with our friends at Pinsight, email Serge Bushman, [email protected].

Polsinelli has been with us in KC since day one. When we launched in November 2012 (at right), I was getting my feet wet as a community builder. Fast forward almost two years, and though the hair cut’s different (as you can see below), Greg Kratofil, Michael Williamson, Kristin Kenney and the whole team have provided constant support for everything we do—Big Kansas City, the Awards show, our content, meetups and a whole lot more.

Together we’ve worked on projects like the first-ever “Pulse of the Prairie” report, with the hope we could give investors and entrepreneurs a better understanding of the landscape. They’ve also been an incredible partner in helping us make connections for folks not only in KC, but also across the region.

They’re behind so many efforts in our small corner of the world. Efforts like Athena League, KCnext, Women in STEMM, the Sprint Accelerator and the Kansas City Digital Inclusion Fund wouldn’t be the same without them. They act as mentors, event organizers, sponsors and leaders, quietly doing so much.Regan Jeff Greg Eric

Like their work with the University of Missouri School of Law and the Missouri Innovation Center. They’re not only growing companies and engaging students, they’re building a foundation for their future fellow entrepreneurial supporters.

Everything they do goes back to moving companies and the region forward, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them by our side. Their extensive knowledge of the space and passion for helping makes them a can’t-miss partner.

If you’re an entrepreneur, you need to get in touch with Greg, Michael, Kristin and all of the amazing people at Polsinelli. Or grab a ticket and say hello and a big thanks at Big Kansas City. They truly deserve it!
