Creelio, the Kansas City-based content marketing platform, has announced that they have closed a round of seed funding and have hired on two new staff. Jarrod Eyler is Creelio’s new CTO and Jennifer Ong will be Creelio’s Digital Strategist.
The Creelio platform helps executives and thought leaders in the financial services industry who are looking for a more effective, hassle-free way of developing their content and social media presence. The system includes innovative automation tools that streamline the revision and approval process. For example, Creelio uses it’s proprietary VoiceScience system that algorithmically assesses the executive’s voice.
The founders of Creelio are excited to reach this milestone after their experience in the SparkLabKC accelerator last year.
“Steve and I are thrilled to be building our tech startup in Kansas City. We have been supported by KC’s entrepreneurial ecosystem at every turn — from our initial idea at Startup Weekend-Kansas City to the funding support from Digital Sandbox and the acceleration program at SparkLabKC,” said Julie Edge, Creelio’s Co-founder and Chief Storyteller.

“Additionally, our angel investor was able to tap into the Kansas Angel Tax Credits. We are so fortunate to call Kansas City Startup Village home and to be a part of a growing entrepreneurial community.”
