Founder and CEO of Clarifai Matt Zeiler added to Big Omaha speaker line-up

Big Omaha features speakers from across the globe who bring a wide variety of experiences and knowledge to the Silicon Prairie. As Big Omaha announces their speakers, we’ll be featuring them on SPN so you can get to know them and find out how they’re helping to shape the startup ecosystem prior to the conference on May 17-19.

Big Omaha announced the addition of Matt Zeiler, the founder and CEO of Clarifai, to their 2017 speaker line-up.

Zeiler is an artificial intelligence expert with a Ph.D. in machine learning from NYU. In 2013, he started Clarifai, an artificial intelligence company that excels in visual recognition, solving real-world problems for businesses and developers alike.

Clarifai won five awards at the ImageNet 2013 competition and went on to become a market leader in artificial intelligence and has been featured on Wired, CNN, Forbes and MIT Technology Review.

Last October, the company raised $30 million in a fundraising round bringing them to a total of $41.25 million in financing. Most recently, Clarifai opened a new San Francisco office.
