During Seed Here’s second birthday party last week in Cedar Rapids, Startup Iowa organizers announced that the Creative Corridor will play host to the first UP Global entrepreneurial summit in October 2013.
“We are truly excited that the globe’s foremost thinkers around startup community building are coming to Iowa,” Andy Stoll, co-founder of Seed Here, said in a press release. “It will be an amazing opportunity to show off all the exciting things happening across Iowa and to put Iowa at the center of this important global discussion.”
The first U.S. summit will be held October 21 through 23 in Iowa’s Creative Corridor, namely the seven counties surrounding Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.
