Bawte announces integration with Amazon through purchase receipts

Inputting your newly purchased products into Bawte just became a little bit easier. That is, if you’re shopping on Amazon.

The company announced Wednesday that its app—which allows users to tag purchased items and receive product manuals or service information—will now integrate with Amazon through purchase receipts.

Bawte founder and CEO John Jackovin says the new integration helps make using the app even simpler. All users have to do is link their Bawte and Amazon accounts, and all items purchased through the site are immediately tagged within the app. As with any other Bawte tag, as soon as the Amazon purchase is synced with the app, the user will receive warranty information, a product manual, helpful tutorials and any other information available about their new product, likely even before they receive it in the mail.

The startup relaunched its app in February with a completely redesigned iOS interface and a new focus on consumer-facing functionality and customer service.
