The Technology Association of Iowa (TAI) recently announced that Bob Weinschenk, CEO of West Des Moines-based SmartyPig, will share a keynote address at their upcoming Pitch Refinement Session workshop on April 6. The Pitch Refinement Session, part of the organization’s fifth annual Prometheus Awards event celebrating technology achievement in Iowa.
“The Pitch Refinement Session puts a unique spin on entrepreneurial workshops, because it invites entrepreneurs to talk about different, important business matters with their industry experts and peers who are at the same stage or more advanced. It is a “safe zone” to network, encourage and foster ideas and grow businesses. And it offers those not quite ready to pitch a venue to listen and learn,” said TAI President Leann Jacobson in a press release.
The Pitch Refinement Session will run from 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and be followed by the awards show festivities starting at 5:00 p.m. Both will be held at The Meadows Convention Center in Altoona.
