Elle Lien’s project is called CLEAN PLATE. The goal…to raise awareness around food and the art of eating.  The CLEAN PLATE installation at 22 Floors Empty Room is an opportunity for Elle to share with others her belief that the act of eating is an everyday expression of our most deeply held values. It will serve the kind of food that is near and dear to her heart, not fussy or complicated, but full of deeply good flavor…

With each new tenant that moves into Empty Room, my mind is stretched by what our city has to offer. From Amy Morin’s Plaiderpillar design work to James & Kris’ 300 Square project focusing on minimalist living and now to Elle’s CLEAN PLATE concept looking at our views on food and dining…I’m reminded of just how diverse and passionate our city is.

If you didn’t catch it, here’s the OWH story on Elle and the CLEAN PLATE concept from several weeks back.

Watch our interview with Elle and make sure to stop by the Empty Room (13th & Webster) this Saturday at 8 p.m. for a grand opening party complete with food, drink and music by Jake Bellows, Teal Gardener and Mr. Wizard
